It's very useful for locating associated files with a program, in that it can show you the files, and then you can manually inspect them and manually delete them (rather than using a program to do this automatically, which is where some issues can arise.) You can also just use the Finder and add the 'Search System Files' rule, but I like the App Cleaner interface and how I can instantly see the paths to each of the individual files.
